Easter Lily in Black and White
One of the final blooms on our Easter Lily. I know that you can transplant these lilies, but I’m not really sure what type of care the plant needs. I suppose that I’ll have to research this a bit more.
Another sunset / shadow picture. I’m not too sure why I am so enamored with these pictures. I’m sure to most people they’re just boring pictures of chairs, but to me there’s something there. I just have to figure out what that something is….

Tulips

Finally, our tulips are starting to bloom. It seems every house I see has tulips standing beautiful and fully open. Ours, not so much. I’m not bitter, really….
The weather has finally warmed up to the point that we all made it to the park last night. The kids had a great time.
Lucy spinning
Stella had fun playing with the bubbles too. It was really windy though, so she wasn’t so much blowing bubbles as simply letting them go.

Focus
One of my biggest issues with shooting film is focus. It seems I’m always just a bit in front of where I want the focus. Now, I know that my eyes are okay as I’ve just had them checked. And I try to use the focusing screen to the best of my ability. But, here we are. Another shot just slightly out of focus.
Sigh.
On a positive note, I’m continuing my semi-abstract shadow explorations. I think that I’m going to give the shadow topic a go for SoFoBoMo this year.
Finally, a favorite from opening weekend:

On the Road
Boy, it seems like it’s been forever since posting. I’ve just not been visited by the photography muse lately. Fortunately, I got a glimmer of light earlier this week. I took the time to shoot, develop, and make a few prints from a roll of film.
But, we’re on the road to openning weekend. Openning weekend is when all of my inlaws get together to prepare the cottages for the coming summer. Mostly raking and installing boat ramps and docks.
Once we’re back home, I’ll be able to look at the few prints I made, make more, cull the losers, etc.
